Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all IT related systems and ensuring that all IT related hardware and software at the hotel are functioning properly. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Implement Information Technology in accordance with corporate standards, strategies, and priorities.
- Manage the hotel’s day-to-day IT activity ensuring all standards are followed.
- Assist end-user problems for all departments within the Hotel.
- Comply with the company’s IT Security Policy as it pertains to hardware, software, and security / data safety.
- Support the hotel’s stand-alone systems, including but not limited to, systems connected to the Network, point of sales systems, all related interfaces, file server, UPS related devices, etc.
- Work and consult with hardware and software vendors to set up and maintain all required equipment.
- Ensure that the usage and installation of software is in accordance with the software licensing laws.
- Supervise and monitor all IT related hardware and software installations.
- Ensure that critical hotel data is secured, backed up on a daily basis, and in line with stated corporate standards and best practices.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement periodical preventive maintenance schedules for all IT related hardware and software.
- Follow up and control hotel systems compliance according to corporate standards / policies and PCI information security standard.
- Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager.
