Description

As a Label Maker at Accord Carton, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient labelling of our paperboard products. You will be responsible for creating and applying labels to finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and create labels using labeling software.
• Print labels on various materials, such as paper, vinyl, or thermal transfer labels.
• Apply labels to finished products, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
• Inspect labels for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of label materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve label printing and application issues.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paperboard industry.
• Experience with label printing and application equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of labeling software.
• Forklift experience preferred - will train.
• Must be able to lift cases that weigh between 35-50 lbs.
