We are looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team in Waukesha, WI for an 11-month contract! If you have expertise in C , Linux, and VxWorks and experience in Medical Systems (CT - Computed Tomography), this could be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:
Migrate ClearCase code to GitLab and integrate artifact delivery into the latest process
Migrate CT applications to VxWorks 7 and ensure seamless integration
Identify legacy dependencies and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective migrations
Perform impact assessments, formal code verification, and documentation
Take ownership of tasks, submit merge requests, and support the team with code reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
10 years of experience in C/C embedded software development
Experience migrating code from ClearCase to GitLab and verifying effective migration
Strong experience with build pipelines, infrastructure, and formal verification testing
Tools/Technologies:
C, C , Python, Linux, VxWorks, ClearCase, GitLab, Sonar
ALM/JAMA, MyWorkshop, GNU Make, CMake
Strong analytical, DevOps, and problem-solving skills
