Must-Have Skills/Attributes: Healthcare industry experience, Strong project management background, Experience working with state agencies
Required Education:
Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
Required Skills & Experience:
5 10 years of project management experience
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience
Proficient with MS Project and MS Office 365
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with local, state, or federal government projects
Familiarity with State-Based Marketplaces
Position Overview:
The client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of complex technology initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of business needs, the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and third-party vendors, and experience in software development lifecycles, system integrations, and project/task management.
You will manage and organize all phases of a large IT implementation project. This includes overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, managing project components for timely delivery, coordinating vendor activities, and ensuring all user requirements and deliverables are clearly defined and met.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for the Health Connector s project management and third-party solution implementations
Coordinate with vendors to identify project dependencies and potential impacts
Facilitate status meetings with stakeholders and vendors, tracking action items
Develop and manage integrated implementation schedules including SDLC milestones
Conduct impact analysis for schedule changes and maintain issue logs
Represent the Health Connector in planning sessions and define implementation tasks
Collaborate with agency SMEs and vendors to support project planning, testing, and issue resolution
Identify and resolve project-related issues, conduct go-live readiness assessments
Work closely with internal and external implementation leads to manage risks and resolve challenges
Deliver status updates to senior IT and business leadership, including risk analysis and budget/timeline impacts
May oversee business analysts assigned to project teams
