JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Focus on Cost Control: Emphasis on cost modeling, identifying cost challenges, and ensuring profitability in product pricing.
- Collaboration: Increased interaction with internal teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, and sales) to refine pricing strategies.
- Product Understanding: A deeper focus on gaining knowledge of product features, production processes, and material costs to support accurate and competitive pricing.
Desired Skill Set:
- Analytics-Driven Approach: Proficiency in cost accounting, pricing analysis, and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Reduced Emphasis on Bid Submission: Less focus on bidding deliverables (done by our Dealer network) and more on pricing analysis, cost management, and competitive levers).
