Director of Nursing Home Care
The Director of Nursing (RN) is responsible for the coordination, supervision, delivery and quality control of home care services under the direction of the Administrator.
Job Responsibilities
- Case management responsibilities, as needed.
- Responsible for supervising and managing all personnel who provide direct client care.
- Responsible for ensuring that the professional standard of community nursing practice is maintained by all nurses providing care.
- Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures as set forth by the Governing Body and Administration.
- Meets with the Administrator to review and coordinate daily activities of the department providing report of actions taken and upcoming needs.
- Receives client intake and/or referrals.
- Performs audit of client charts.
- Maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
