Role overview:
Accordion is seeking a dedicated and proactive Executive Assistant to join our New York City office. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, ensuring smooth office operations while contributing to an exceptional workplace experience.
This position is based in our New York City office and requires in-office presence five days per week. Ideal candidates should be local to the area.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can also assume Executive Assistant duties to support several senior leaders.
This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage complex and dynamic calendars for multiple senior leaders, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing tasks.
- Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international), including booking flights, accommodations, and preparing itineraries.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Help build our office culture and develop programs that enhance our already stellar employee engagement.
- Act as a key partner to our leaders, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across internal teams (IT, People, Marketing, etc.), clients, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Ideally, You Have:
- A high school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree
- Office management, administrative, or assistance experience preferred
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- A positive and upbeat personality
Ideally, You Are:
- A detail-oriented individual with experience in a similar role or passion to become a great Office Manager and Executive Assistant
- Personable, approachable, exceptionally organized, resilient, and excellent with time management
- A team player, you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and pitch in wherever needed
- The go-to person when someone has a question because you usually know the answer–and if you don’t, you won’t stop until you find someone who does
- A superb problem-solver who goes above and beyond to provide excellent service to employees while adhering to internal policies and procedures
- Patient and open-minded, you take initiative, and you can juggle multiple tasks like a pro
- Most importantly, a ton of fun and don’t take yourself too seriously
Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 benefits bonus overtime eligible
Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
