Attendant General Cleaner Internship

Experience a 6 week 12 week internship in a luxury resort environment. The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of cleanliness in our guestrooms.

What you will be doing :

• Clean guestrooms to include : dusting making beds soiled linen removal from rooms daily turndown service and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets vacuuming bathroom cleaning inside window cleaning replenishing room supplies
• Own lobby and / or public area assigned on a regular schedule cleaning spot sweeping carpet dusting when necessary keeping glass doors mirrors free of fingerprints and elevators regularly
• Clean all mirrors and glasses; inside of windows; all vents in assigned areas stock all paper supplies in restrooms and storage closets; wipe clean all marble and tables and dust all surfaces
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Accurately report room status reports throughout the duration of your shift
• Take ownership of guests privacy and belongings while ensuring exceptional service
• Work effectively and contribute positively to a team
• Keep linen closets supply closet and landing organized and clean
• Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms / areas
• Respond professionally politely and efficiently to requests from guests
• Use hands to lift carry or pull objects that may be heavy
• Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards
• Read understand and follow all department policies
