Job Description
Reports To: Cocktail Terrace Manager, Food & Beverage Director
Profile: The Cocktail Terrace Bartender provides timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for each guest.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Follows all steps of service.
- Provides superior service behind the bar by preparing drinks according to recipe standards.
- Knows drink names, ingredients, method of preparation, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
- Knows all menu descriptions for food and beverage menu.
- Ensures all stock is up to par.
- Provides prompt, accurate report of all income receives during shift.
- Sells beverages responsibly with customer's best interest in mind.
- Completes daily inventory and informs servers, managers, and bar backs of any changes.
- Maintain smooth flow of service.
- Completes all sidework as outlined in manual.
- Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.
- Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with coworkers and guests.
- Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the bar area.
- Assists with and executes any and all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
- Responsible, dependable, punctual, and adaptable.
- Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
- Exhibits strong beverage knowledge.
- Must pass a background check.
Education & Formal Training:
- High school or equivalent education required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Requires lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to outside elements.
