Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment
- Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective actions
- Oversee the back of house operation such as laundry, kitchens, HVAC
- Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of the Position:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of painting/wall covering, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
- Must have experience in the following areas; 2 years preventative maintenance, guest rooms, public areas
- Able to coordinate with other departments to successfully run the preventative maintenance program
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
