Job Summary

As a Mover, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of office furniture and equipment. You will work closely with the team to ensure items are safely handled, efficiently packed, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is physically strong, detail-oriented, and has excellent customer service skills.

Installations may involve assembly of delivered items.

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Ability to pack, organize and shinkwrap items for moving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other items from moving trucks.
• Pack and unpack furniture. Ensure all items are packed and loaded securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Safely transport belongings to customers' offices.
• Use moving equipment (dollies, straps, etc.) to move heavy or bulky items.
• Handle all customer interactions with courtesy and professionalism.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling furniture when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process.
• Assist in completing necessary paperwork, including inventory lists when applicable.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in moving or a similar physical labor role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle fragile items carefully.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license (required) and reliable transportation is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including Saturdays, when necessary.
• Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Work hours are 7am - 3:30pm M-F and Saturdays as needed.
• MUST be able to pass an extensive background check.
• MUST be punctual!!
• Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• On call
