Cash Applications Specialist (Contract through May 31st)
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Rate: $40–$50/hour
Schedule: Contract role through May 31, 2025 - Hybrid
Accountants One is actively recruiting for a Cash Applications Specialist to support our client on a contract basis through the end of May. This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise in Sage Intacct and cash applications to a fast-paced, dynamic accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume cash applications and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts with stringent deadlines
- Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
- Maintain and update cash receipts and reconciliation records
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to cash posting
- Ad hoc reporting and support as needed by the AR/Finance team
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required
- 3 years of experience in Cash Applications and Account Reconciliations
- Strong understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting
