Accountants One has been hired by a rapidly growing publicly traded Fintech company to find a Financial Reporting Staff Accountant for their team. The team consists of 4 including the Director of SEC Reporting and they work alongside the accounting team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting
- Preparation of SEC Filings
- Internal Controls and Documentation
- Audit and Filing Support
- Research & Analysis
- Ad-Hoc Projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or pursuing CPA.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience with preparing financial reports is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, Blackline, Workiva preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of SEC rules and regulations (e.g., Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Form 4) preferred
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
