Part-Time Senior Accountant

Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Developer looking for a Part-time Senior Accountant. The client is looking for this person to work about 24 hours a week prefer 3 days in the office, a little flexibility on the hours. As the business continues to grow this could go to a full-time role in time, but it can stay part-time too. This is an in-office position.

Senior Accountant will handle the following:

• Oversee all the accounting processes for multiple entities
• Payroll- making sure the third-party vendor has processed the payroll
• Oversee monthly responsibilities, for example, check processing, rent collection, and insurance renewals.
• Review and analyze financial statements prepared by third-party property management companies.
• Work with the outside CPA on all the tax filings and returns for all the entities.
• Special accounting projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of experience in accounting
• Highly prefer Real Estate or Real Estate related industry
• Strong understanding of GAAP and tax principles
• Advanced Excel
• Strong accounting systems experience highly prefer Timberline
• Organized, time management skills, independent worker and excellent communication skills
