Job Description:
As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s receivables and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. Responsibilities include:
• Processing and entering credits by reviewing transactions, completing appropriate forms, and maintaining detailed records.
• Uploading invoices into third-party portals and generating property tax invoices as needed.
• Addressing customer inquiries, updating accounts with new information, and resolving billing-related questions efficiently.
• Depositing customer payments, maintaining records, and printing and mailing invoices to ensure timely processing.
• Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, maintain accuracy, and support financial reporting efforts.
Qualifications:
• Education and Experience:
• 2 years of accounting or business experience, or equivalent college coursework.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in accounts receivable and customer interaction is a plus.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
