Job Description:
As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will manage a team responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely payments, reducing past-due balances, and optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Your key responsibilities include:
• Team Leadership: Set goals, manage performance, and provide mentorship to your team to support their professional growth.
• Portfolio Management: Direct collection activities for assigned businesses to ensure the timely resolution of open accounts receivable.
• Performance Oversight: Lead regular meetings with staff and business leaders to address key objectives and escalate issues affecting AR performance.
• Reporting: Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reports to management and executive leadership.
• Collaboration: Work with high-level management to address and resolve challenges, ensuring a unified approach to achieving financial goals.
• Process Improvement: Promote efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvement and establishing clear accountabilities within your team.
• This role also includes conducting site visits to review performance and fostering strong partnerships with business leadership across locations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of accounts receivable experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
Preferred:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
