Job Description :
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze financial data, prepare accurate financial statements, and support process improvements. Responsibilities include :
- Preparing and reviewing monthly journal entries, income statements, balance sheet statements, and account reconciliations.
- Conducting monthly variance analyses to identify trends and provide insights to management.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Assisting with annual external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Collaborating with finance and non-finance teams to implement process improvements and automation.
- Maintaining the integrity of general ledger transactions and financial records.
- Assisting in the administration and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures.
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.
- Communicating and escalating financial issues and insights to the Controller.
- Supporting ERP system processes and helping transition financial reporting to the accounting team.
- Maintaining consistent in-office attendance as an essential function of the role.
