SNI has teamed with a valued client in Downtown Denver on a search for a Manager of Investment Reporting role. The opportunity is a fully remote role. The position will manage 2-3 people and will be a high profile position. The Manager of Investment Reporting will report directly to the CEO. The role will be a contract-to-hire position.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Investment Reporting to lead the consolidated reporting function for high-net-worth (HNW) and UHNW clients. This role involves managing a high-performing team, delivering precise and timely reports, and driving process improvements to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment reporting and a strong ability to meet client expectations while adhering to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of investment reporting specialists.
- Ensure professional development and alignment of team objectives with organizational goals.
2. Consolidated Reporting
Oversee the preparation and delivery of comprehensive investment reports for HNW and UHNW clients, integrating data from multiple custodians and platforms.Ensure reporting includes both liquid assets (e.g., stocks, bonds, ETFs) and illiquid assets (e.g., private equity, real estate, hedge funds).3. Process Improvement
Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting tools, processes, and workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement technology-driven solutions for data aggregation and reporting.4. Client Service
Partner with client relationship managers to understand and deliver on client-specific reporting needs.Respond to client inquiries and troubleshoot issues while maintaining high service standards.5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all reporting activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.Identify and mitigate risks related to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.6. Data Management
Oversee the integration and reconciliation of financial data from various sources.Maintain rigorous quality control to ensure the accuracy of all reports.Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, CPA) are preferred.Experience :7-10 years in investment reporting.
At least 3-5 years leading a consolidated reporting team for HNW or UHNW clients.Technical Expertise :Deep knowledge of liquid and illiquid investments, including performance reporting and valuation methodologies.
Proficiency with investment reporting platforms (e.g., Addepar, Black Diamond).Skills :Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
