Job Title: Organizational Development & Training Manager
Location: Sugar Land, Texas
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager
Summary:
The Organizational Development & Training Manager at Accredo Packaging leads the design, development, and implementation of employee training programs and organizational development initiatives. This role is critical in enhancing employee performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and supporting the company’s strategic goals.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Commensurate with Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Design and implement training programs that align with company objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and prioritize training needs.
- Create and update training materials, including manuals, e-learning content, and workshops.
- Employee Development & Performance:
- Conduct needs assessments to enhance employee performance and company goals.
- Develop personalized development plans and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Facilitate training sessions on safety, technical skills, leadership, and compliance.
- Organizational Development:
- Act as a liaison to leadership, providing consultation on HR issues, performance management, and strategic planning.
- Lead efforts in labor relations, equal employment opportunity, diversity, and compensation programs.
- Facilitate communication and problem-solving between management and employees.
- Evaluation & Compliance:
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Maintain records of training, certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership & Budget Management:
- Supervise the Training Specialist and manage the training budget to optimize resource use.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the training team.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in training and development, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Experience in manufacturing or packaging is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design, HR practices, and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Certifications:
- CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP, or similar certifications are a plus.
