Machine Learning Intern - Computer Vision
We are seeking a motivated Machine Learning Intern to assist with tasks in multimodal summarization projects. You will work on preprocessing data, running existing pipelines, testing models, and supporting performance optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and debug existing Computer vision pipelines involving multimodal models and LLMs for specific use cases.
- Perform basic experiments to evaluate model performance and document results.
- Support fine-tuning and testing tasks for pre-trained vision and language models.
- Generate visual and textual summaries from multimodal content using predefined tools and frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python; familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
- AI/ML Basics: Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Video Processing Tools: Familiarity with video processing libraries such as OpenCV, MoviePy, or FFmpeg.
- Multimodal Experience: Exposure to either computer vision, natural language processing, or audio processing projects is a plus.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers, TTS libraries, or other related AI tools is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with academic or personal projects related to video or audio summarization.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of handling large datasets and writing efficient scripts for automation.
