Position Description:
The quality assurance analyst is responsible to ensure that the AI software functions as intended to deliver an exceptional experience and optimal outcomes. The analyst must define quality requirements for software capabilities and functions, design test plans, and test the software to validate correct and expected results throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsiblities:
- Define quality requirements for the product in collaboration with the product manager and lead software engineer
- Design test plans and test scenarios, create manual and automated test cases, and run scripts to identify issues, analyze results, and validate functionality and accuracy
- Participate in software development process to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Discover bugs and unexpected results before the software is launched then collaborate with developers to resolve and test again
- Review the final product's functionality before release and provide the project team with documented results
- Ensure software backend and frontend functionality matches requirements
- Assist with root cause analysis working with clients, developers, researchers, and customer success representatives
- Document issues into the specified document repository, present findings at design reviews, and assist development of resolution pathways
- Enter bug reports into reporting systems and tracking progress against client or technical requirement performance benchmarks
- Accept, document, and act upon user feedback and requests in multiple input media such as emails, chats, forms, and client conversations
Skills:
- 2 years of experience developing and running software test scripts in testing software
- 2 years of experience with software development
- Experience using collaboration and documentation software such as Jira, Github, Slack, and Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile software sprint cycles and timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, August 2, 1995, this position requires U.S. citizenship
- Current U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraph
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
- Some experience coding in Java, Python, R, or C/C
- Attention to detail and enthusiasm for testing software and stressing resources in creative ways to ensure client-facing applications perform as intended
Salary Range: 110k-140k
The salary range provided reflects the estimated compensation for this role based on the expected qualifications and experience level. The final offer may vary depending on factors such as skills, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
