Assistant Controller

Office Location: Lower Manhattan, NY - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Oversee audits, tax preparation, and external financial reporting
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies
• Drive Continuous Accounting Improvement
• Help to Improve Internal Control Development and Implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred or in the process of obtaining one
• Proficiency with Netsuite and other financial software
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial management, with a focus on Payroll
• Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling financial information.
• DCAA audit expertise
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: 115k-140k
