SALARY : $75,000 - $95,000

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team at Accretech SBS, Inc., as our new Sales Application Engineer!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

As our Sales Application Engineer, you will :

• Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements.
• Draft or assist with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
• Provide expertise and support to the sales department to communicate products, services, and client needs.
• Develop and maintain personal relationships with prospects during the sales process across many different prospects simultaneously.
• Ensure that the customer’s needs are met, which may include product modifications.
• Propose improved materials or products to customers and explain the benefits of changes.
• Provide support to customers and resolve problems with installed equipment.
• Prepare product orders and schedule deliveries.
• Assists with research and development of new products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly.
• Ability to meet deadlines, possess good organizational and follow-up skills, be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Regional travel to visit customers and / or potential leads may be required from time to time.

Education and Experience :

• Engineering or Manufacturing background required.
• Minimum 3 years of related product or sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth.
• Self-starter and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment, including reporting on and improving business performance against a set of quarterly KPIs and metrics.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Grinding / Machining Experience a bonus (!)
