What You'll Do
- Large book of business including new/renewal lawyers professional liability coverage- program expansion into multiple new states. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Underwriting new/renewal program business (Production/ Underwriting/Loss runs/renewal solicitation)
- Work closing with team to maintain renewal retentions and build new business growth
- Roll out new program in NJ & NY; develop marketing plan; marketing materials; producer visits;
- Monitor producer hit ratios; Hit new business premium growth goals with market
- Manage program results; growth/ retention/ loss results
- Conduct periodic coverage review of program and competition to ensure adequacy of program longevity
- Annual carrier audits;
- Wholesale brokerage- request proposals, evaluate policies, process binders/invoices, handle any/all transactional work associated with brokerage lines of business.
- Expand on program business by rounding out, selling up and cross selling additional insurance products
- 2 years of Underwriting experience, specifically lawyers professional liability required.
