Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 or more years Information Systems or Business-related experience that includes the systems/applications of assigned area.
- 2 or more years experience working in project management.Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing project processes.
- Must have strong Microsoft Project skills.
- Provides day-to-day leadership to large, multi-disciplined global project teams and manages the actions required to meet project deliverables.
- Experience implementing enterprise level business and technical solutions and delivering medium to large application development efforts.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent project workstreams of varying sizes and complexities.Accountable for implementing the standard PMO tools, which include but are not limited to the business case/project approval, work plan, schedule, resource plan, communication plan, change plan, and risk plan.
- Effectively integrates global resources necessary for successful project delivery.
- Accountable for keeping project sponsors and stakeholders aware of project status.
- Manages team risks and issues, assesses impact, and develops recommendations for action when escalation or mitigation is needed.
- Builds and maintains productive working relationships with team members, external vendors, and internal customers.
- Facilitates project postmortems, documents finding, and uses learnings to improve ongoing processes and best practices.
