Position Summary : As a UI Lead, you will be responsible for leading the UI design and development efforts in a project to modernize the UI of an existing web application. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, software engineers, and stakeholders, to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly functional interfaces. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface architecture and tools / framework(s) selection to ensure our products meet high standards of design and usability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the UI team to align on proper UI architecture and technologies from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Provide direct contribution to the solution.
- Collaborate with UX team to translate wireframes, prototypes, and user flows into high-fidelity visual designs and interactive interfaces.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs and maintain design consistency across all platforms.
- Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure a cohesive and scalable design language.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and elevate the quality of our UI designs.
- Mentor and guide junior UI designers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements, define design goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights.
