- The Engagement Leader will have a proven track record of executing at the highest level and drive growth while meeting financial obligations and driving sales, gross margin, and profitability for overall P&L performance. Reporting to the EVP of Project Consulting Solutions, the Engagement Leader will be responsible for leading business development activities, independently and in partnership with team members in PCS and the Revenue team. You will also support the EVP in ensuring the practice is in a market-leading position within the mid-market customers and prospects.
- The Engagement Leader will represent excellence, lead by example, set new trends, be high touch on Project Consulting pursuits and projects and hold all Accrue team members to a high standard.
- You will be expected to provide strategic direction and guidance on Project Consulting Solutions goals and objectives, processes, governance and client pursuits to all AccruePartners team members. The Engagement Leader will also identify areas for growth and improvement while developing and implementing plans to achieve the practice's business objectives.
- As Engagement Leader, you will provide direct input to and assist the EVP in managing budgets, developing financial projections, tracking, analyzing, and making performance improvement decisions, business acumen, and financial management skills. By excelling in these areas, you can significantly impact Accrue and your practice to drive growth and profitability.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the local market that complement and enhance Accrue’s current service offering.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Create Proposals and Statement of Work for each assigned project
- Work with the Client to establish action items at the time of intake including resume reviews, presentation dates, interview times, and debriefs
- Lead pricing decisions in line with practice margin goals and thresholds
- Serve as Engagement Leader on all assigned projects
- Manage 3 to 5 ongoing projects simultaneously
- Pursue 4 to 6 opportunities simultaneously
- Manage Project and Risk Management protocols
- Meet with and manage project team through weekly/periodic status meetings
- Oversee project execution with support of onsite project leader
- Lead key client meetings and status reviews
- Manage budget, expense, consultant time recording and client billings
- Ensure Estimate to Complete is updated weekly
- Monitor progress and quality of deliverables
- Support change orders and/or purchase order increases
- Manage consultant end dates and project wrap up
- Face to Face Project Consulting Solution client and prospect appointments weekly, in accordance with Project Consulting Solutions budget (to be set quarterly) with participating team members in partnership with EVP, Client Success
- Lead all consultant searches for significant project roles with the support of Divisions
- 2-4 Monthly networking events
- 2-4 out-of-office events/entertainment monthly with Project Solution clients
- Participating in a minimum 2 client SABR reviews quarterly
- Participating in all SOW presentations for assigned pursuits
- 2 Cross sell client introductions per month
- Drive all Relationship Roadmap and Lead / Opportunities within the practice. Goal of 10 leads per month
- Ensure all searches with clients are executed with the AccruePartners Business Systems process including scheduling and delivering Interviews, Client Preps, Debriefs, Search Summary Reporting, and leading recalibration activities where needed
- 5 weekly interviews with Project Leader Level and key project candidates in transition or interested in new opportunities.
- Assemble and lead the recruitment and hiring process for consulting and project delivery teams.
- Mentor and develop cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the right talent is assigned to projects based on skills and client requirements.
- Establish and manage a set of key project roles with a target level of pipeline candidates for each
- Support divisions in candidates searches for each role
- Perform primary or secondary interviews as needed
- Lead or assists divisions with just in time candidate searches
- Leading Candidate Prep and Debrief calls
- Preparing Go to Market Messaging, gathering Market and Talent Analytics, Performing Searches
- Linked In Social Selling and Branding through relevant postings of jobs, trends, blogs and infographics on a weekly basis.
- Assist EVP, Project Solutions in the development of processes and governance to support practice execution in alignment with the ABS and Flywheels.
- Monitor practice financial results and key performance indicators and take action to meet and exceed goals.
- Monitor business and client trends to develop and regularly update a set of solution areas for AccruePartners to pursue
- Develop and deliver training to all AccruePartners team members to support the Project Solution business.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create and leverage marketing collateral, case studies, and success stories that showcase our brand's excellence.
- Provide input and insights for marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance our brand presence.
- Participate in all leadership development activities that the organization may invest in for further development.
- Provide training, development and leadership to all team members by leading with AccruePartners core values and demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure all account and contact-related activities are documented in Bullhorn
- Ensure all prospective clients have updated the information in Bullhorn
- Ensure target client contacts have 30-day task items and receive a “touch” monthly
- Provide reporting and progress updates via weekly status reports
- Lead business reviews with stakeholders internally and externally
- Ensure open communication between divisions for efficient client pursuit
