Complex administrative work associated with assisting the Academic Affairs Office with responsibilities that may be of a confidential nature. Work includes managing and operating processes related to Faculty Credentialing software, special projects, and procedures relevant to the Academic Affairs Office.Salary: Appropriate placement on ACCS Salary Schedule E1, Grade 2: $50,680 - $68,169Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.; Friday 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and must submit a complete application packet to be considered. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist the Academic Affairs Office in administrative and instructional operations.Engage productively with Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid and other departments.Assist in preparing the payroll roster and employment contracts for all full-time and part-time faculty members and executing Faculty Load and Compensation. Organize and maintain web-accessible repository of information documents and processes related to Academic Affairs activities (Instructor qualifications, Learning Assessment instructions, reports and peer feedback, Program Review, and key initiatives.)Manage the Faculty Credential process and software.Manage the organization of college committee selection process and update Committee Handbook as needed. Works with college committees to coordinate initiatives related to the Strategic Plan.Review Course Shells in LMS for compliance with Assessment and Academic Affairs policies.Manage software for Syllabus repository and reporting.Supports faculty and students in the development of new Credit for Prior Learning opportunities, including students from Workforce Solutions, Adult Education, and Veterans.Assist with organizing, recruiting, and credentialing adjunct faculty pool. Organize adjunct job fair on each campus annually.Assist with creation and maintain repository of Academic Pathways.Assist the Office of Faculty Development in coordinating faculty seminars, maintaining a repository of interdisciplinary speakers, coordinate Innovation Awards Presentations and grants.Assist in receiving and processing paperwork to ensure items are submitted in a timely manner.Make arrangements for instructional council meetings; record minutes and follow up on appropriate action items. Perform additional duties as assigned.
