Under direction of the Executive Director of Financial Services, the Coordinator of Maintenance and Custodial Services will be responsible for all general maintenance, custodial, and some grounds keeping. The Maintenance and Custodial Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Coordinator of Facility Projects and Plans on the facility upkeep of the campus, and knowledge of any construction projects. Salary Commensurate with education and experience according to ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule C3.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Major ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and assist in general maintenance duties for all buildings, including debris and trash removal from all three campus locations. Perform upkeep and care of campus grounds.Work cooperatively with College team members.Assist and assign work orders to general maintenance employees and other trades as directed in a timely and efficient manner. Use the purchase order process to place orders for parts and supplies as needed to maintain appropriate records.Assist in opening and securing all buildings on a daily basis as assigned.Develop, adhere to, and implement the established preventative maintenance plan for campus buildings and equipment.Develop, adhere to, and implement the routine service and maintenance plan for College fleet vehicles.Ensure compliance with local ordinances for fire, safety, construction and elevator inspections. Collaborate with the Coordinator of Facilities Projects and Plan on all campus renovation and construction. Complete annual performance evaluations.Identify and trouble shoot maintenance related issues such as Coordinate and supervise the installation of ceiling tile, install and/or change lighting; install and assemble other items as requested.Perform all duties with professionalism.Coordinates with Business Office in the organization and implementation of College surplus sales and auctions. Responsible for coordinating all internal and external event set-ups and take-down.Operate and perform general task using College equipment such as forklift and tractor as needed. Demonstrate ethical behavior, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, both on and off the campus.Actively participate in division/college committees and campus activities.Perform special projects as assigned by the President and Executive Director of Financial Services.
