Coordinator - Rural Postsecondary and Economic Development (RPED) GrantSalary Schedule: L1 RPED Grant- Grant Funded. ($50,000.00) Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. This is a non-tenure track position Non-Probationary Status cannot be obtained.Scope of Responsibilities: Provides support of grant initiatives.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In addition to adhering to the general guidelines as specified by the Faculty/Staff Handbook, the Title III Grant, US Department of Education, Title III Project Director, Dean of Students, the President, and Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, responsibilities will include the following: List Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the Project Director in planning, organizing, and managing the daily operations of the grant initiatives.Oversees the implementation of grant activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.Coordinates the development and revision of orientation courses, meta-majors, and instructional leadership programs.Monitors project progress by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on key performance indicators.Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports for the funding agency.Ensures compliance with grant requirements, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.Supports the hiring, onboarding, and supervision of project staff and faculty involved in the grant.Facilitates collaboration between departments, faculty, and staff to achieve project goals.Serves as a liaison between the grant team, campus leadership, and external partners.Assists in implementing tutoring and other student support services.Develops strategies to engage students in new initiatives, increasing retention and graduation rates.Coordinates professional development activities for faculty and staff as part of the instructional leadership academy.Helps monitor the project budget to ensure proper allocation and utilization of grant funds.Works with the Project Director and financial office to prepare budget reports and adjust expenditures as neededAny other duties as assigned.
