The Adult Education Program Data Specialist will provide clerical assistance for the Adult Education/TANF and SNAP programs.Reporting Authority: Director of Adult Basic Education/GED

Enters data, understands and uses the AAESAP data system.Provide clerical assistance for the Adult Education/TANF & SNAP programs.Proctor TABE, TABE Clas-E, ACT WorkKeys Test, NorthStar Digital Literacy and GED PracticeCollect and organize monthly time and effort reports from all full-time and part- time faculty and staff.Maintain AAESAP database and all necessary documentationEnsure data is stored for the recommended timeframe provided by ACCS Division of Adult Education.Organize and maintain a filing system for student and office records as appropriate.Provide the Director with all requested reports and supporting dataCompile and dispense necessary reports in a timely manner.Communicate effectively with Instructors to ensure accurate dataAssist with students follow-up/tracking on separate students.Audits reports for accuracyCompile monthly overall program and individual class performance reports.Substitute/assist in the classroom as needed.Assist with preparation for all adult education functions (such as local trainings and annual community events).Assist with preparing program performance reports monthly, quarterly, and/or annually required by the Alabama Community College System Adult Education Division.Attend all adult education and local and statewide professional development opportunities as deemed necessary for job performance.Comply with all policies and procedures of the Alabama Community College System and Bishop State Community CollegeMaintain a flexible working schedule to meet the needs of the program.Assist Career Coaches with collecting and entering dataAbide by the policies and procedures established by the College and by the Alabama Community College SystemParticipate in staff, division, and committee meetings as assigned.Actively participate in division/college committees and campus activities.Demonstrate ethical behavior, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, both on and off the campus.Other duties as assigned by the President, Dean of Workforce Development and Director of Adult Education.
