The Evening and Weekend Program Specialist is responsible for campus management and coordination of educational support services for the College’s evening and weekend programs, as well as, providing support for the records officeSalary Schedule Placement: Appropriate placement on Salary Schedule C3 - 04 ($40,583 -$66,302) based on experience
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Assist the Dean and Instructional personnel with the management of evening and weekend programs. 2. Coordinate room schedules/space utilization, equipment and facilities during evening and weekend hours. 3. Monitor classrooms, labs/workshops, and other campus facilities and respond appropriately. 4. Maintain accessibility and communication with Instructional administrators and faculty to facilitate class coverage and monitoring as necessary. 5. Provide assistance and direction to students, prospective students, and visitors. 6. Advise students as needed and assist with student registration each semester. 7. Assist the Admissions and Enrollment Services office with documentation, submission of admissions applications, and verifications. 8. Make schedule changes, class cancellations, register students, and enter drop/add in the Administrative Software System (Banner). 9. Perform inquiries and input student information in the Administrative Software System (Banner). 10. Utilize the document imaging system to organize and maintain student admission information. 11. Administer evening and weekend assessments (testing) as needed. 12. Assess and resolve student, faculty, and operational issues occurring in the evening and weekend programs. 13. Assist with hosting evening and weekend student activities. 14. Review graduation applications and degree works scribing degree plans. 15. Provide optimal, courteous, and responsive customer service in written and verbal formats. 16. Serve as the primary contact for the records office in the evenings and weekends and direct calls to appropriate individuals. 17. Participate in professional development activities and utilize information to enhance performance. 18. Serve on college committees, as assigned. 19. Perform all other job-related duties as requested by the Registrar or appropriate administrator.The Evening and Weekend Program Specialist will be expected to work a flexible schedule which may include day hours when necessary.
