What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Manager position at AcctPositions?
We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at AcctPositions. As a Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing full charge payroll responsibilities for our group of companies.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years commercial construction Union Payroll Management experience, with prior experience in NYC and Long Island Union Carpenters payroll. They should also possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent computer and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, managing Payroll 4 Construction (P4C) software, maintaining Union setups, and communicating directly with Field Foreman and Director of Field Operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining all employee electronic files, company-wide Paid Time Off (PTO) balances, and reconciling and timely paying all Union Benefits.
In addition, the Compensation Manager will prepare and submit Certified Payroll reports, calculate and reconcile weekly 401K employee deductions, process travel expense reimbursements, and maintain OSHA files, Workers Comp, and Medical Insurance.
