Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations for prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets and various other accounts.
- Participate in month-end close process. Prepare monthly journal entries with proper supporting documentation. Analyze and investigate variances
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging reports and provide commentary for outstanding / aged items.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation.
- Review applicable invoices for 3-way match to Purchase Orders. Research, investigate and resolve all pricing, unit, and freight discrepancies in coordination with Warehouse and Pricing Departments.
- Ensure all AP documentation is attached to invoices and all back-up is attached to Journal Entries. Maintain records electronically and in accordance with company record retention policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding of transactions / invoices and resolve accounting issues.
- Other accounting and taxation duties as assigned.
- Assist the CFO and Controller with special projects.
