Job Description:
An application specialist is responsible for the overall technical usage, support, maintenance, and development of applications. They work with users and peers to ensure that applications are running smoothly and meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of company applications and workflow
- Assist developers with requirements
- Organize current workflows for improvement
- Provide feedback on new applications and workflows
- Train and support end users on software applications
- Design new workflows
- Provide technical support to users, including help desk activities and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain documentation for applications, processes, and users
- Plan, coordinate, and consult on complex projects related to application development
- Recommend applications based on user needs
Requirements:
- Good organization skills
- Good communication skills
- Must read, write and speak English, fluently
- Quick to learn new technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft products a must
- Strong customer support and communication skills
- Knowledge of commonly used applications and related tools
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in an IT/computer or health science discipline
