What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Support Staff - Nutrition Services and Custodial position at AccuForce?
AccuForce is now hiring for School Support staff including Nutrition Service workers and Custodians.
Nutrition Services:
- Serving food and beverage items on a serving line.
- Operates a variety of kitchen equipments (mixers, food processor, slicer, oven, fryer commercial dishwasher, range, steam kettles and compartment steamers.
- Monitors meals, collects money, gives change and is accountable for POS transactions
- Inventories food, condiments and supplies
- Inspects food items and/or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity, quality and specifications of orders and complying with current health standards
- Stocks storeroom freezers and coolers with supplies when delivered from vendors or SNS \warehouse.
- Transfers supplies, food, and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Washes pots, pans, trays, dishes, silverware, serving utensils, etc.
- Cleans and maintains equipment storage, food preparation and serving areas to ensure meeting the requirements for sanitary conditions.
- Reports equipment malfunctions immediately to the cafeteria manager
- Assumes responsibility for knowing/following approved sanitation and safety regulations in order to maintain highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, serving and storage areas.
- Observes all federal, state and local regulations relating to food service operation
- Maintains a high level or personal integrity and strong work ethic.
- Assumes the responsibility of having regular and timely attendance
- Participates in a variety of meetings and trainings.
- Following all board policies, school system rules and administrative
- Flexible Hours - Can work 4 to up to 5 ½ hours daily / Mon-Fri
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying objects
- Must be able to count, make change and basic math skills

Custodians:
- These are 90-day, Temp-To-Hire Opportunities based on performance, attendance, attitude.
- Excellent benefits package once full-time!
- Duties will include performing janitorial duties. This includes operating various cleaning equipment, including floor sweepers, utilizing backpack sprayers, etc.
- Training/instructions will be provided.
- 90-day, Temp-To-Hire Opportunities (full-time) & Substitute Opportunities (Will work part-time to full-time hours for sickness and vacation relief)
- Shifts: Evening Shift / Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm
- During Holidays and Summer hours will be Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30pm
