Acuity is seeking a Systems Engineer - Security (Data Loss Prevention) to assist in design and implementation of data loss prevention strategies to secure critical information. Developing and fine-tuning systems and policies to ensure accuracy and performance across MS Office and Cloud platforms, as an example. The Systems Engineer will assist in monitoring data in transit and at rest, following up on violations and researching areas of data vulnerability providing mitigation and control recommendations. This position will also assist with developing and maintaining forensic procedures and encryption key lifecycle management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Test new software products and releases as well as hardware devices.
- Assist in establishing standards and trouble reporting procedures.
- Assist in system performance monitoring, reporting and tuning.
- Assist in the integration of multiple hardware platforms.
- Design new or revised architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Evaluate current and emerging data loss prevention (DLP) technologies and risks.
- Install and maintain DLP systems within internal and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain DLP monitoring policies across multiple platforms.
- Develop and tune DLP rule sets and controls.
- Develop and maintain sensitivity labels corresponding to policy.
- Define and maintain rules based on sensitivity labels.
- Train Security personal on DLP incident handling procedures.
- Apply DLP rule sets across multiple platforms.
- Develop and continuously enhance incident response playbooks to respond to DLP alerts.
- Coordinate and participate in incident response exercises.
- Remain abreast of company and industry directions.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent and continued field specific education.
EXPERIENCE :
3-5 years practical experience in computer operations, applications and / or technical support or information security.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :
