What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Accuma Corporation?
1. Job Summary
The position of a Class One auditor is accountable for reviewing product & process quality in a safe and efficient manner observing all safety & workmanship standards of Accuma Corporation. This is the entry level for quality auditor and noted below are the minimum requirements

- Requires participation in company activities
- Requires some overtime & shift work
- Major Responsibilities
- Understand the work instructions posted at each work center
- Perform all quality checks as outlined in the work instructions
- To complete & record the daily floor audit using quality database
- Review production records (form FM 7-521)
- Perform outbound inspection duties as required
- Maintain good communications with all team members
- Know your materials & what can or cannot be mixed
- Report all quality problems to the shift supervisor & operators as needed
- Contain or stop the process ( Place on Hold ) as needed to prevent non-conforming material from contaminating good material (DMR database)
- Review previous shift reports and follow-up on problems as required with little supervision
- Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to write as demonstrated thru the completion of the employment application
- Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to read and demonstrate an understanding of the operator’s work instructions
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be proficient with mathematical functions such as addition & subtraction in order to review production record (form FM 7-521)
- Must be able to clearly communicate process / product problems
- Must be able to stand with constant moving such as walking, stooping, climbing and kneeling for 8 to 12 hours
- Must be able to lift & carry 48 lbs and push or pull up to 1000 lbs with a pallet jack
- Must successfully complete the on the job training process
- Must know and understand the quality policy & quality objectives
- Must be able to effectively use all measuring devices by end of training period
- Must be a “Grade 3” operator or qualify as a grade 3 by end of quality probation or training period.
- CMM experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of Print Reading and GD&T is a plus.
