Internship Dates : June 2nd - Aug 3rd
Basic Job Functions :
All job functions will be performed under supervision. The Intern will perform activities that are necessary to maintain and operate chemical analysis in the laboratory during assigned shists. An ideal candidate will be responsible to carry out technical tasks and support lab operations by performing routine and non-routine chemical analysis of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods.
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Maintain cGMP and GDP compliance in the analytical laboratory.
- Understand and maintain lab safety procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of all the analysis by using lab notebooks and by using LIMS.
- Perform in-process, and routine chemical analysis of raw materials, bulk products, finished goods by using approved procedures upon completion of successful training.
- Maintain notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation in accordance with cGMP.
- Sample management of materials, bulks and finished goods.
- Assist in lab housekeeping, organizing lab consumables and glassware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Chemist intern : The intern must be attending college with 1-2 years of course work in a science degree focused on chemistry.
