Job Title: Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work Location: Atlanta, GA (Douglas County)***
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations
- Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance regarding plans, safety, and contract requirements
- Conduct record-keeping to ensure all necessary observations are documented
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives
- Interpret and work from drawings and specifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roadway testing
- Candidate should be a Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician
- ACI certification is required
- Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauge is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
- Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
- Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
