What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Assistant position at AccuraGen?

Receive and process specimen shipments

Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis

Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality

Conduct testing under supervision

Perform routine technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures

Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe lab environment

Will assist with safety, hazardous waste, and facilities

Performs other duties as needed
