Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative at Accurate Control Equipment, you will play a crucial role in identifying, qualifying and selling our mailing systems and document processing solutions provided by our trusted partner, Quadient USA. You will focus on expanding our footprint in the market by targeting businesses, government organizations, and educational institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales and a passion for office technology solutions to make a significant impact on our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients in need of mailing and document processing solutions, including businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions.
- Work to create leads through phone calls, emails, and social media and to introduce Accurate Control Equipment’s offerings. Schedule product demos or meetings with help from our sales team.
- Qualify leads to ensure they match Accurate Control Equipment’s target market and align with Quadient’s products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Quadient USA’s products, including mailing solutions, document processing equipment, and related technologies, to effectively present solutions to prospects.
- Track and manage leads in our CRM system ensuring follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings in the mailing and document processing space.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a preference for experience in office equipment sales, mailing solutions, or document processing.
- Strong understanding of mailing and document processing systems, particularly those offered by Quadient USA, (preferred, but not required).
- Proven ability to generate leads, qualify prospects, and meet sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate product value.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales productivity software.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented, with a passion for sales and business development.
