What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at Accurate Controls?
Production Technician:
The assembler, will assemble electronics to blueprint specifications by gathering parts, reading instructions, and using specific tools.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret schematic drawing, diagrams, blueprints specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine material requirements and assembly instruction
· Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, and wiring using shop tools
· Inspect units for accuracy and quality and work with supervisor to resolve issues
· Assist in maintain a well-organized assembly area and part inventory/stocking area
· Observe and practice safe working procedures
· Assemble electromechanical components with interconnecting wiring
· Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect panels
· Installs finished assemblies or sub-assemblies into cases or cabinets
· Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials to shop manager
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· High School diploma, GED or equivalent
· Demonstrated attention to detail
· Basic math and recording abilities
· Self-starter, ability to work well within teams and individually, proactive
· Strong troubleshooting and quality control skills
· Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds
· Ability to reach and bend
