Contract Details:
- Guidance Provided: You'll receive one-on-one guidance on customer expectations for transporting pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, supplies, mail, documents, and various specimen types (room temperature, frozen, and refrigerated). Competency is required to maintain your contract as a Medical Courier Driver.
- Confidentiality Compliance: Learn about Confidentiality Rules and Regulations.
- License and Insurance: Maintain a valid driver's license, updated insurance policy declaration pages, and vehicle registration at all times.
- Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle and phone are in good working condition.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance with proper hygiene.
- Drug-Free Workplace: Remain drug and substance-free at all times, regardless of state legalization.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of parcels according to time schedules.
- Chain of Custody: Use a Mobile Application to record parcel details and maintain the proper Chain of Custody.
- Issue Reporting: Report any issues or problems during assigned routes/orders to dispatch or the local Operations Manager immediately.
- Uniform and Identification: Wear a company-provided uniform and I.D. badge during contracted work.
- Policy Adherence: Follow both Customer and Company Policies.
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding in-person customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Weather Conditions: Be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
- 24/7 Operation: Our company operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of standing, walking, and driving.
- Lifting Requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Professional driving experience preferred (couriers, delivery routes, etc.).
- General knowledge of the local area, including traffic patterns, roads, and shortcuts.
- A medical background is helpful but not required.
- A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of experience.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Own vehicle with valid registration and auto insurance that meets company requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check, health requirements, and drug screening (regardless of state legalization).
Salary : $550 - $1,250
