Accurate Group is seeking a Recording Specialist for our growing team at our Independence office. The Recording Specialist is responsible for performing the preliminary stages of the recording process as established by department policies and procedures. They are to ensure timely recording of client lien instrument and ancillary documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs the first stages of the recording process as established by the department policies and procedures
- Data Entry in the Archer system, Confirmation of receipt, and document review
- Shipment packaging and assembly to send to established Recording Vendor in a timely manner to ensure timely recording of client lien instrument and ancillary documents
- Meets or exceeds existing daily production goals (currently set at 120 documents per day after company training completed)
- Works with Department Management team to complete other departmental duties as directed
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- One to two years office experience working in a group
- Prior title, mortgage, or banking experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong organization skills
- This position will require attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Strong ability to multi-task is required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change when needed
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate professionally in an oral and written manner.
- Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook, general computer knowledge

Hourly rate: $16.50- $18.00 per hours
Schedule: Monday -Friday (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
