Other duties may be assigned at any given time, based on the assigned job. Installation of all types of commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, air handlers, mini-splits, rooftop units, unit heaters, boilers, chillers. Check drawing for conflictUnderstand other trades for coordinationProperly size, cut, insulate and install metal duct runsUnderstand kitchen hoods, exhaust, welded ducts and make-up air systemsAble to run an area of a project with little to no supervision along with a level 1 or 2 apprentice.Follow all company safety policies and proceduresDisplay the ability to build a positive team attitude / morale in supporting installers. Create a positive / constructive atmosphere at the job site. Recognize and change, when possible, a poor customer relationship into a positive one. Able to run small jobs / phase of project with one installer and complete the job at or below budget / completion dateOffer suggestions on value engineering jobsMaintain an open-minded approach to new ideasProvide feedback to management for installer evaluationsBe familiar with operation sequence of equipment pertaining to the mechanical tradeWork with project leader to develop an environment of efficiency and continuous improvementProperly complete time cards weekly RequirementsInstallers and technicians are subject to work in indoor and outdoor conditions. Those could include, but are not limited to; heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow.
