HIRING IMMEDIATELY : ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / COLLECTIONS CLERK IN POMPANO BEACH, FL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Receivable / Collections Clerk to join our client in Pompano Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely account reconciliation. This role requires strong customer service skills and proficiency in accounting software. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring that all accounts are accurately managed and discrepancies are addressed promptly.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

Starting at $22 / hour, paid weekly

Excellent benefits package : Medical, Dental, and Vision

1st shift schedule : 7 : 30 am to 4 pm

Located in Pompano Beach, FL

Duties and Responsibilities

Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.

Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable transactions, including invoices and payment history.

Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

Prepare journal entries related to accounts receivable as needed.

Utilize accounting software such as Sage ERP for tracking and managing accounts.

Collaborate with the public accounting team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts.

Requirements and Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role is preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage ERP) is strongly desired.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and public accounting principles.

Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Knowledge of journal entries and basic accounting principles is essential.
