Role : Operations Lead

Shift : M-F 8 : 30-5pm

Pay : $30-40 / hr

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced plant operations supervisor to join their growing business. This role involves overseeing plant operations, providing leadership to warehouse and office employees, and managing employee relations, including training, discipline, and conflict resolution

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Overall management of plant and operations activity.
• Provide leadership to warehouse & office employees. Effectively handling employee relations issues including, but not limited to, training, counseling, discipline and conflict resolution
• Be a change agent capable of building a strong team that can execute and deliver results
• Compliance and training for OSHA, DOT, HazMat
• Institutes and enforce safety practices
• Embraces and promotes a continuous improvement mindset - Lead towards TQM / ISO certification
• Oversee Shipping, receiving, storage activities
• Inbound materials tracking, Sample draw, quality check, and put aways - Production, blending / mixing projects
• Required to work with cosmetic materials / chemicals, including oils, butters, waxes, chemicals, fragrance oils with strong odors.
• Repacking, Mixing, or Blending of above-mentioned materials - Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Provide technical expertise related to materials
• Create Process documents, training materials
• Overall upkeep and maintenance of the plant
• Other warehouse / operations related duties as required.
