Job Title: Sr. Security Process Controls Specialist
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
Location: Erlanger, KY
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4 days in-office)
Position Summary:
This role reports to the Director of Global Security Governance & Awareness within the Global Information & Cybersecurity team. The specialist will help drive and improve the Global Information & Cybersecurity program and document management processes, ensuring effective security governance and awareness initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation, review, and updates of policies, standards, and procedures for Global Information & Cybersecurity and Global Technology.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to address new requirements and emerging business needs securely.
- Manage the document management process for policies, standards, SOPs, and supporting documentation, including flowcharts and presentations.
- Facilitate bi-weekly Policy & Standards Working Group (PSWG) meetings, addressing policy approvals, standard updates, and security awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate agendas and content for the PSWG, the GICS Council, and applicable Process Advisory Groups (PAGs).
- Track and produce policy framework compliance metrics, including monthly policy reports and quarterly process scorecards.
- Ensure translation of policies into appropriate languages and publish documents on SharePoint.
- Support security awareness program development, including training materials and events.
- Track expenditures related to security awareness initiatives and translation services.
- Manage SharePoint content for document and security awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications to distribute security awareness messages and policy updates.
- Assist in executing security and technology assessments for customers, third parties, applications, and vendors.
- Compile and analyze data to generate reports and recommendations for management.
- Work with risk assurance teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuous communication.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and governance structures for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Support cyber regulatory compliance efforts across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with document review processes and maintain accurate governance records.
- Create and deliver training to support document management initiatives and process improvements.
- Develop project management materials to ensure initiatives remain on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Execute tasks with high attention to detail, urgency, and thoroughness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Privacy, IT, Internal Audit, InfoSec, Corporate Security, and HR, to improve documentation and governance processes.
Required Skills:
- Mastery of American or British English for document management and training material development.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Visio.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document management and process improvement.
- Experience with document management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of process flows, documentation, and process-driven organizational structures.
- Experience managing and updating SharePoint sites, including policy publication and security awareness content.
- Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally within and outside the organization.
- At least 2 years of experience developing clear, concise documentation.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Proficiency in technical writing and diverse communication methods for various audiences.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Limited travel required.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001/27002.
- Experience developing training materials and user guides for security awareness programs.
- Ability to automate policy compliance metrics using tools like Power BI.
- Certifications in project management, process improvement, or document management.
- Multilingual proficiency (e.g., German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French) and experience structuring English for ease of translation.
- Experience in technical writing, policy documentation, or regulatory compliance support.
- Familiarity with SharePoint site management.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
