Float team at UNC MC to float to all progressive care units depending on the needs. This includes Surgical, Neuro, Medicine, Cardiac, Cardiovascular and Burn Center. Patient care is generally 1 to 3 or max 1:4. Nurses may also float to acute care units as needed which would involve 1 to 5 ratios.
